The global box office is shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic, and with theaters in the US and Europe shuttered for the foreseeable future with no new blockbusters scheduled for release; China is re-releasing old movies in that few theaters are reopening there.
According to China box office observer Gavin Feng, they’re considering a re-release of the four Avengers movies when those few theaters open:

According to The Hollywood Reporter this morning, there aren’t many theaters opening there. There are a few opening in “far-flung” areas of the country such as like Xinjiang, Qinghai and Fujian. But the report says that theaters there are facing bankruptcy, so they’re opening with re-releases to lure people back as there won’t be any new Hollywood movies until the pandemic is resolved in the US.
