Rumor: Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Will Feature Different Versions of Known MCU Characters

We’ve been hearing a lot of cool things about Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness this week, but here’s something very cool and explains the title quite well.

The concept of the Multiverse means there are other alternate realities where there are known MCU characters, but they could be very different. And according to a reliable source, the Doctor Strange sequel will explore that and it sounds like we may see some known MCU characters but in very different ways.

That doesn’t mean they’re bringing back actors who have retired from the MCU, such as RDJ or Chris Evans, but if Strange were to encounter those characters; we could see different actors playing playing them in their own version of the MCU universe. I’m not saying we will see Cap or Iron Man for sure, but that’s just an example of the sort of mix up we might see in the movie as Stephen Strange begins to encounter the Madness of the Multiverse.

Of course exploring the Multiverse is a way for America Chavez to join the MCU, as she comes from an alternate reality, but it also opens the door for all sorts of interesting possibilities in the future if they show that there are alternate versions of existing, or even dead, characters out there.
