ABC is Talking to Kevin Feige About a Marvel Series for the Network

When Marvel Television was recently folded into Marvel Studios, many believed that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. would be the end of broadcast Marvel shows when the series ends this summer. Well, it looks like ABC is at least trying to get something Marvel related on the air in the future.

According to Deadline, ABC Entertainment president Karey Burke told them at the TCA event that they’re talking with Feige about shows:

“We love our partners at Marvel and we’re sad to see [Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D] go, it’s been a big part of our history. We’re looking forward to working with Kevin Feige and we’re at the very beginning of conversations with him now about what a Marvel and ABC show might look like. Right now, Marvel’s focus has been on Disney+, as it should be.”

It almost makes you think that if ABC really wants a Marvel show, perhaps something like an Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. spin-off featuring Daisy or other characters could be in the cards. This statement doesn’t mean they’re actually making a Marvel show for the broadcast network, just that ABC is talking to Feige to see if Marvel will do one in the Disney+ area.
