In a nice surprise it turns out that Marvel fans won’t have to wait long to stream the biggest movie of all time on Disney+, as now Avengers: Endgame will be on the service when it launches in the US.
Disney+ made the announcement this morning:
Oh snap! #AvengersEndgame is coming to #DisneyPlus. Start streaming the epic finale to @MarvelStudios’ Infinity Saga on November 12 in the US, Canada and Netherlands and on November 19 in Australia and New Zealand. pic.twitter.com/Bc2Ev83DuD— Disney+ (@disneyplus) November 6, 2019
Originally Endgame wasn’t going to join the service until December.
The Infinity Saga won’t be complete on Disney+ however. The movies still on Netflix remain there until that deal expires, and then there’s the question about what’s going to happen with The Incredible Hulk and the two Spider-Man movies. As the former is Universal and the latter Sony, it’s unknown if those three will ever stream on the Disney service.
Of course, announcements like this always bring questions about the European release. Disney hasn’t announced a date yet other than saying Western Europe will see the service early next year.
