Last October, MCU Cosmic ran a scoop about Katherine Langford’s mystery role in Avengers: Endgame, and back then I said that she would be playing an older version of Tony Stark and Pepper Potts’ daughter in the movie. That has now been confirmed by the Russo Brothers.
On an episode of the Happy, Sad, Confused podcast; the Russos said that originally when Tony snapped his fingers he would go into the Soul Realm like Thanos did and have a conversation with his grown daughter, who was played by Katherine Langford. The role was cut after early audiences didn’t have a connection to the older version of Morgan Stark in the scene.
You can hear them describe it on the podcast via this Tweet:
If you’re still wondering about Katherine Langford’s scene in Endgame: She’s supposed to play an older version of Morgan (p.s. according to the russo’s quicksilver was never part of any plan) pic.twitter.com/MBXotzapLf
