Another Avengers: Endgame ‘Plot Hole’ Theory is Debunked

Ever since the release of Avengers: Endgame, people have been screaming “plot hole!” about a whole bunch of things in the movie that they didn’t understand. Even though there may be an explanation out there for people to understand what they’re calling a “plot hole” isn’t really one, it seems like with every big movie release social media erupts into “plot hole” media… because I guess people want to feel like they know more than the filmmakers or something.

One of the big “plot holes” people keep bringing up is how Thanos and his army was able to travel to the future, when evil 2014 Nebula only had one Pym Particle and she used it to return to 2023. As part of the same interview where they gave an official explanation for the Captain America ending, the Russos also debunked this plot hole theory:

Q: How did Thanos bring his army to the future?

A: There is a guy called Maw in his army, he was a great wizard. Thanos himself was a brilliant genius as well. Those two easily reverse engineered and mass produced Pym Particles.

This one is kind of easy to figure out if you think about it and aren’t out there looking for plot holes to bash a movie over. Ebony Maw is alive in 2014 and between him and Thanos it would’ve been easy to figure out how the Pym Particles worked to create their own and go through the Quantum Realm to 2023 when evil Nebula activated the Quantum Tunnel for them.
