Ever since the Disney-Fox deal was announced people have tried to start rumors that the Fox characters would be introduced in a post-credits scene of Avengers: Endgame. Despite Disney not owning those characters when the movie is going to be released at the end of April, the rumors simply won’t die and people keep revising them as well. At one point people claimed the Dark Phoenix cast would show up thanks to reshoots, and that’s evolved over the months to now just being a mention of “Mutants”.
According to a new SEC filing, the deal will complete by June. Long after the release of Avengers: Endgame in theaters (meaning Disney cannot use the characters in Endgame):

Obviously this means that those people trying to claim that Dark Phoenix won’t be released are also wrong.
If there is any sort of post-credits scene in Endgame that sets up a future movie, it’s likely to be for The Eternals.
