The roster of Marvel series on Disney+ continues to expand. We know of Loki, The Vision and Scarlet Witch, and Bucky and Falcon. There’s also a rumored Hawkeye series in some sort of development, and now another Thor character is rumored to get their own series.
According to Discussing Film, Lady Sif will be the focus of a Disney+ series.
“Marvel Studios is not done just yet with having limited series’ in store for the Disney+ Streaming Service with a ‘Lady Sif’ TV Series set to be in early development. Kevin Feige will produce the show with Jaimie Alexander expected to reprise her role. It is currently unclear whether the show will take place before or after ‘Thor: Ragnarok’.”
Last year Kevin Feige told Cinemablend what he believes happened to Sif prior to Ragnarok:
“Sif was probably banished. She’s off somewhere.”
It’s possible this series could explain what Sif was up to during her banishment. It also wouldn’t be the first time Sif was on TV, as the character has previously appeared on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D..
