Kevin Feige Confirms Previous Rumor That ‘Endgame’ Marketing Will Only Use Footage From the Beginning of the Movie

Last month when the Avengers: Endgame trailer was released, a story leaked that the trailer only had footage from the first 15 minutes of the movie. As it happens on Twitter people asked me about this “rumor” when it came up, and I told them that is what I heard as well. Now Kevin Feige has confirmed it to be “somewhat accurate”

In an interview with MTV at the red carpet for the Golden Globes last night, Kevin Feige was asked if the marketing isn’t going to show us much more than the first 15-20 minutes of the movie, and he said:

“I’d call it somewhat accurate. As was the case with a lot of our films this one in particular, you know, being able to generate excitement without giving away any of the many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many secrets would be ideal.”

It’s not exactly the first 15 minutes like a lot of sites are reporting today, it’s more like the first 15-30 minutes. There’s stuff in the first trailer that happens after the first 15 minutes, for example, but it doesn’t go any further than the first half-hour.
