As most people know, every movie has a production title they use while filming; usually to hide what is really being made. Infinity War and Avengers 4 were both made under the name Mary Lou, and Spider-Man: Far From Home used the name Bosco during filming. Now it looks like Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has been given a working title, and it could mean things are again moving forward on the movie.
Omega Underground has learned that Guardians 3 has the working title of “Hot Christmas”. While they do speculate it could be connected to Adam Warlock, and there have been comments out there from Jim Starlin over the weekend talking about the character in Guardians 3, James Gunn himself did say in the past that he never said Adam was planned for the third movie:
Regardless of the Adam Warlock situation, the movie having a working title could mean things are progressing after they delayed it after the James Gunn situation. It could move pre-production is firing back up. It’s also possible they’ve found a director and are just waiting for the right time for that to be revealed.
