Dave Bautista Wants to Jump Ship to the DCEU

This morning multiple Hollywood trades (who all claimed it as “exclusive” at the same time) revealed that James Gunn is in talks to write Suicide Squad 2 for Warner Brothers and may direct it as well. It’s a bit of closure to the James Gunn drama as he has now been rehired, although not by Marvel. Of course everyone was wondering how long it would take for Dave Bautista to chime in…and it didn’t take long.

Dave jumped on Twitter and asked where he can sign up for Gunn’s Suicide Squad:

If you’ll remember, Dave has been the most vocal Guardians of the Galaxy cast members when it came to the Gunn situation. At first he said he’d do what he was obligated to, then he said he wouldn’t do the movie without James Gunn’s script being used, and most recently he went on a talk show in the UK and clearly said he didn’t want to work for Disney anymore.

This means we’ll just have to wait and see if Drax comes back to life in Avengers 4 or not…
