SDCC 2018: The ‘Baby Hitler’ Scene Will Be Restored in Deadpool 2: The Super Duper Cut!

Hall H at San Diego Comic Con just got a huge treat in the Deadpool 2 panel: They got to see the infamous cut “Baby Hitler” scene.

As originally reported, the scene was cut from the post-credits of the movie (it originally was right after the Ryan Reynolds one) because some test audiences were uncomfortable with Deadpool strangling an infant Adolf Hitler to death in his hospital crib. It’s a darkly humorous scene and one that completely fits the “anything goes” character of Deadpool, so it was really disappointing when it was cut from the final film.

But tonight Hall H got to see the scene, and everyone who picks up the Extended Cut of Deadpool 2 next month will get to see it as well as it’s included in that release. More people at SDCC 2018 will get to see the scene tonight as Fox is doing a screening of the The Super Duper Cut for those who picked up a ticket earlier in the day.

The Super Duper Cut of Deadpool 2 arrives on digital, 4K UHD, and Blu-Ray next month.
