This week begins San Diego Comic Con 2018. From Wednesday through Sunday, hundreds of thousands of people will descend upon downtown San Diego, California and we’ll be there.
There’s a lot planned for SDCC2018 this year, but as any SDCC veteran will tell you most planned schedules are impossible to stick to 100%. Crowds and other issues can prevent you from seeing every single panel you plan to, but I’ll do my best to live blog the big Marvel panels right here on the site. Also I’ll be doing a lot of live streaming from the convention. You’re not allowed to live stream panels, but I’ll be streaming from the floor across the five days. So if you’re not already subscribed to the MCU Cosmic YouTube channel, you can do so to get notified when a stream starts.
This is the tentative schedule of the panels that I’ll attempt to live blog here on the site (times are Pacific):
1:00pm Marvel Games Panel
5:00pm Marvel Studios: The First 10 Years, Visual Development
12:30pm Marvel Comics: Spider-Man
1:30pm Marvel: Cup O’Joe (Marvel Knights 20th Anniversary)
4:00pm Marvel Studios: The First 10 Years, Theatrical Prop Development with Russell Bobbitt
1:45pm Marvel Comics: Next Big Thing
3:00pm Marvel Comics: Meet the Editor-in-Chief
11:15am Marvel Comics: X-Men
There are no panels on Wednesday, that’s just preview night on the exhibit hall floor. That’s when I’ll to a live stream tour of the Marvel booth as long as the cell connection is strong enough.
Of course there’s always things that can throw a schedule like that into whack, but those are the panels I’ll do my best to attend and live blog here on MCU Cosmic.
