Footage Details From the Avengers 4 and Captain Marvel CineEurope Presentations

Yesterday Marvel made a presentation at CineEurope for their three upcoming films: Ant-Man and The Wasp, Captain Marvel, and Avengers Untitled. Now we have some more details about what the presentations really showed, and a lot of the reports on the internet right now are completely false.

For Ant-Man and The Wasp, they showed three clips highlighting the family tone of the film, the humor, and the action. It’s likely the footage they showed is very similar to the two scenes that Disney is currently showcasing at Disneyland.

As for Avengers 4, there was no title revealed at the conference. All they referred to it as was “Avengers Untitled“. Anyone trying to pass off a blurry title picture to you and claiming it was announced there is just lying to you. Likewise, the footage “reports” being spread around by websites about Scott Lang talking to Tony Stark about different realities and Infinity Stones are 100% bogus. That scene was not shown at all.

What was in the Avengers 4 footage? Well, nothing really. It was basically Kevin Feige sitting in a chair talking about the movie while some behind-the-scenes clips played and apologizing to the exhibitors there for there being so many fewer heroes to sell to their customers. It was a custom made video just for the exhibitors and meant to make them laugh as the Marvel characters make them a lot of money and Feige killed most of them in the last movie. He said the remaining heroes would need to come back together as a team in Avengers Untitled.

Finally the Captain Marvel presentation did feature footage as opposed to Kevin Feige sitting in a chair the whole time, and it was meant to introduce people to Carol Danvers. The footage shown highlighted her as a character and talked about how she would become the new face and leader of the Marvel Cinematic Universe while talking a little bit about her powers and how powerful of a character she is.

So there you have it. That was Marvel Studio’s presentation at CineEurope.
