A Marvel Exec Tried to Save One Character From Thanos in Infinity War

By now most people will have seen Avengers: Infinity War, and the ending to the movie has become a big internet meme, so there’s no real point in cautioning people against spoilers for what happens in the movie now. Despite that, people are still dancing around what happened at the end of the movie, but one Marvel exec wasn’t happy with who died from the Snap.

The Huffington Post has a quote from a Marvel exec named Nate Moore, who was a producer on Black Panther, and he tried to get the Russos to spare T’Challa:

“I knew pretty well what they were talking about and personally urged them to reconsider,” Moore said over the phone earlier this month. “But the storytelling made sense, so I love that we got to see a little bit more of Wakanda in that film, and I hope to see how they’re going to resolve that.”

The Huffington piece does seem to have a specific agenda in attacking the Russos for “murdering” Black Panther, and I think most actual fans would agree that wasn’t even the saddest death in the movie. But still it’s funny to see even people in Marvel didn’t want to see specific characters dusted.
