The Eternals Find Their Writers

The scoop this site launched with continues to be confirmed through official channels. Back on April 4th, MCU Cosmic kicked things off by revealing that The Eternals would be the big new MCU franchise in Phase 4. Now, the script is under way for the movie.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, two writers who penned the blacklist movie Ruin are going to adapt The Eternals for Marvel Studios:

“Marvel Studios has pinpointed its next potential franchise, the Jack Kirby-created title The Eternals, and is moving ahead with development.

The studio behind Avengers: Infinity War has hired writers Matthew and Ryan Firpo, whose spec script Ruin shot to the top of the 2017 Black List, to pen the script for the superhero team adventure.”

Previously Bleeding Cool said writers were being looked for, and then Kevin Feige himself confirmed the movie was in development. I have to say, every one of these confirmations feel good after so many people called me a liar after initially reporting that the movie was coming…
