Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Season Finale Had Infinity War-Level Secrecy

With all of the ups and downs over the last two days giving Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. fans anxiety, here’s a cool thing I heard tonight about next Friday’s finale. There are absolutely no spoilers in this post, thanks to an extreme level of secrecy surrounding the final moments of next week’s season finale “The End”.

You’ll probably remember how they kept everything secret with Infinity War, well it sounds like they went through a similar effort with next week’s episode. According to a source, not everyone on the show may know how it all plays out in the end of the episode. Apparently when they were filming key moments of the finale, it was a closed set with all non-essential people barred from it. That way nothing would leak and it was filmed with the utmost secrecy.

The source also says that they believe there is “definitely” some misdirection going on with the promos for the episode.

“The End” is still being called a season finale, but it was written as a satisfying ending to the series if the worst comes to pass. It also may tie into the events of Infinity War, so if you haven’t seen that yet and are wary of spoilers; you may want to head to a theater before next Friday.

Here’s the promo for “The End”:
