The Russos Confirm (Again) No ‘Avengers 4’ Title For a While

As the Internet tends to do, a comment by the Russo brothers a couple of months ago about waiting to release the Avengers 4 title until long after the release of Infinity War has been ignored and people have spawned all kinds of crazy theories like it being revealed in the credits for Infinity War this month.

Back in January, Joe Russo told MTV on a podcast that they were going to sit on the title for a while:

“We’re gonna sit on that until we feel the time is right and when people have absorbed the first movie enough.”

This week comes an interview with Hey U Guys on YouTube where the Russos again say we’ll have to wait “a while” to hear the title. If Infinity War does adapt Infinity Gauntlet the way many fans are suspecting it does, then the title of Avengers 4 would be something they’d want to sit on until people have come to grips with what Thanos does in Infinity War. How long? July at San Diego Comic Con seems like a good bet as to when we’ll hear the title.
