One of the last steps prior to release of the movie has been completed for Avengers: Infinity War, as the movie now officially has a MPAA rating. The PG-13 rating began appearing on the TV spots this past weekend, but it’s now 100% official as the MPAA issued the notice last night that they did rate it.
Every Tuesday, the MPAA isses what they call the “CARA Ratings Bulletin” from the Classification and Rating Administration. This is a PDF they update on their site listing all of the movies that they have officially rated over the past week. This week’s bulletin includes the PG-13 ratings for Jurassic Park: Fallen Kingdom and Avengers: Infinity War:
Avengers: Infinity War-Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of sci-fi violence and action throughout, language and some crude references.
Language? Oh, Captain America won’t approve of those bad language words being used.
